Gus Brown Pontiac Buick GMC Ltd. has been a success in the Durham Region since 1968 and is a quadruple award winner in the 2010 Readers" Choice Awards.

"We are very pleased to be nominated and then chosen for four awards," says owner Gus Brown.

Gus Brown won the Diamond Award for Best Car Dealer Service and the Platinum Award for Domestic Car Dealership, Best Body Shop, and for Best Used Car Dealership. Gus says it's an honour to be recognized among all of the many new domestic car dealers in the Oshawa Whitby area.

Gus Brown is a big supporter of the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.  This year they raised $100,000 in the Gus Brown Golf Classic, bringing the total amount raised to nearly $500,000. The employees at Gus brown also play an active role through payroll deduction in the United Way campaign, as well as the Heroes of Hope campaign. Gus Brown Pontiac Buick GMC Ltd is one of the United Way's largest contributors for dealerships year after year.

"The people in our community are the reason for our success," says Gus. "So it's important for us to give back and both the Cancer Centre and the United Way are very important to the Durham community."
